My Advice For Homebuyers Who Are Also Home Sellers
Here are three ways to successfully juggle selling and buying real estate.
Many people want to buy a home and sell a home at the same time. In the current market, sellers are receiving multiple offers and selling quickly. If a buyer has a property to sell, their offers are less attractive to sellers. Here are three options if you need to complete two transactions at once:
1. You can borrow against the equity of your current home with a bridge loan or home equity line of credit.
2. You can sell first and then find temporary housing while you search for your dream home.
3. You can sell first then negotiate a rent-back agreement with the buyer so you can stay in your home for an additional month or two while you find your new home.
