Here’s why January is a great time to buy and sell.

Around this time of year, people often ask me whether it’s a good time to buy or sell. Right now is a fantastic time to buy because interest rates are still historically low. If interest rates rise by 1%, your payment on the same house will go up by 10%.

Right now is also a great time to sell because there are a lot of buyers out there. Things are moving so fast that you can move when you want and on your terms. This past week, we listed two houses at prices that were unheard of in the neighborhood, and they sold after the first weekend. We’ve partnered with an investor who will buy your home and lease it back to you at market rate. This is great for those who've been wanting to sell to an investor but did not want to get out of the house before closing.
